Pierce Street is a fun little street. You can find this painting overlooking the alley on the east side at 1441 Pierce.

Continue on down the street, and at the next lane you will see part of mural that was painted over. This used to be two women in masks with bare breasts, probably commissioned by the massage parlour on St-Catherine Street. It was painted over to be more family friendly when Innovations Jeune began closing the street for its summer festivals.

Pierce Street Alley

For a couple of weeks in the summer, Innovation Jeunes has a street party with family centred activities like giant chess, picnics, bands etc. They have created these planters decorated with fun cartoonish characters.

Finally at the end of the street is a fun mural, created 2015 by Dodo Ose from the A’Shop Collective (produced by Innovation Jeunes)… I’ll let you decide what it is all about.
